Laine Vintage is currently buying quality vintage* clothing for the upcoming Fall/Winter season, including shoes, boots and other seasonal accessories.

We are also accepting boutique consignment on specialty items.

 
*Based on industry standards, the term 'vintage' can be applied
to anything that is 20-100yrs old.

SELL YOUR VINTAGE CLOTHING

 

STEP 1:  DROP-OFF

Please drop off your items Tuesday through Saturday, between 12 and 4.  

  • Upon dropping off your items, please label all your bags with your name, email, and phone number. 

  • Please ensure that all items are free of stains or any damage.

 

STEP 2:  SELECTION PROCESS

After we've had time to look through all of your items and make our selections, we will then contact you (by phone or  email) with a flat fee amount for the items we would like to purchase.

Payments can be provided via eTransfer (upon request), cash (when possible), or a 50% mark-up for store credit.

BOUTIQUE CONSIGNMENT

 

STEP 1:  PRE-APPROVAL

All items require pre-approval due to limited space constraints and seasonality. our pre-approval process simply involved sharing photos or details of your items with us, before dropping them off.

Please email us at hello@lainevintage.ca, or send us a direct message on Facebook or Instagram  to begin the pre-approval process. You can also visit us in person.

 

STEP 2:  DROP-OFF

Once we have pre-approved your items, you may either drop off the items Tuesday through Saturday, between 12 and 4.

 

STEP 3:  SELECTION PROCESS

After we've had time to look through all of your items and make our selections, we will then contact you (via email) with an itemized list of the items we've chosen and the retail price for each item.

STEP 4:  CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT

After we've provided you with an itemized list of the consignment items, we will need you to return to the shop to sign our consignment agreement.  

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE

  • Upon dropping off your items, please label all your bags or boxes with your name, email, and phone number. 

  • Please ensure that all items are free of stains or any damage.

 

CONTRACT TERMS

  • Laine Vintage will retain a commission of 50% on the final selling price of each item. This amount will not include any additional fees for taxes.

  • Payments can be provided via eTransfer (upon request), cash (when possible), or a 50% for store credit.

  • We reserve the right to mark down items in the best interest of selling.

  • Items are left at your own risk. We will not be held responsible for stolen and/or damaged items. Please be sure that any high-value items you wish to consign with us are covered under your own insurance policy if necessary.

WHAT WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR

  1. All items/clothing must be at least 20 years old or older.

  2. Items must be clean, unchipped or cracked.

  3. Clothing/accessories/linens must be clean and free of any stains, rips/holes and preferably freshly laundered.

The Yes List

  • Seasonal clothing items (ex: sweaters, long sleeve dresses, coats, etc.)

  • Unique/oddball vintage items/decor

  • Western items (ex: boots, belts, and hats, etc.)

  • Biker-wear (ex: Harley Davidson clothing, etc.)

  • Vintage/collectible toys (we love Garfield and Monchichis)

  • Clean vintage shoes (in good wearable shape, especially boots!)

  • MCM/Mid Century Modern

  • Fiestaware

  • Baribocraft

  • Carnival glass

  • Depression glass/uranium glass

  • Sterling silver and gold jewelry

  • Mohair (scarves/throws/sweaters)

  • Smaller-sized framed artwork

  • Small furniture accent pieces (chairs, shelves, side table, etc.)

  • Musical instruments  (ex: guitars, ukeleles, small percussion, etc.)

The No List

  • Large dish sets (unless super special)

  • Vases (we love them but have too many already)

  • Large kitchen items (casserole dishes, salad bowls, trays/platters, ice buckets, etc, unless your piece must be seen!!)

  • Large linens/quilts, etc
